Prenatal Yoga Classes
I offer group prenatal yoga classes at Vista Yoga studio in Decatur. I am also available for private yoga instruction for women and their partners.
How can Yoga benefit you during pregnancy?
The ancient practice of yoga was created to promote physical and mental well-being. Being pregnant and giving birth involve great physical and emotional changes, and using yoga techniques to move, breathe, visualize and relax during this time will help you to gracefully journey through this time of transition.
Yoga poses help you maintain physical strength, muscle tone and balance.
Yoga breathing allows you to move better, as well as to focus and relax the mind. It will also serve as one of the main 'tools' for labor and birth.
Sound, visualization and other yoga techniques we practice in class are a wonderful supplements to the class, and have been of great help for women in labor.

Postpartum Yoga Classes
I offer weekly postpartum yoga classes, where you bring your baby, socialize and bond with other moms, breastfeed and nurture your baby while practicing yoga poses and breathing to reclaim your body and mind.
